Live teaching mode

Section timers, key teaching points, one-tap marks and quick notes, then a hand-off to reflection.

What you see

  • A countdown timer for the current phase, sized to read from across the room.
  • What happens this segment, plus the key teaching points for that phase.
  • The full phase list down the side, with planned minutes and your marks so far.
  • A control bar: Start / Pause, ±1 min and ±5 min, Skip and Next.

Marks and quick notes

Tag the phase you're in ★ Went well or ⚑ Revisit, and type a Quick note while it's fresh. Both travel with you into the reflection, so nothing depends on remembering it at the end of the day.

Devices

Designed for a tablet or phone propped on the desk. Layout reflows to portrait, tap-targets stay above 44 px, and Install adds it to the home screen so a cached lesson keeps working if the wi-fi drops. Screen wake-lock keeps the display on while you teach.

After the lesson

Press End lesson and pick Finished — go to reflection, or Stop without finishing if the period was cut short. Either way your section timings, marks and notes are saved first.

The reflection then opens with a Teaching Mode summary — planned against actual minutes for every phase, with the difference and your marks beside it — and pre-fills What worked well and What to change next time from the notes you left on phases you flagged. 30 seconds well spent.
